Art Group Gallery - Pleasant Ridge Art Group Gallery is a collective of talented local artists offering original works. The Art Group Gallery is located in Pleasant Ridge Town Center.

Paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, and batik are available in addition to pottery and glass. Suite 910, Little Rock, Arkansas. We feature local artists-- Shirley Anderson, Loren Bartnicke, Clarence Cash, Virmarie DePoyster, Shelley Gentry. Louise Harris, Terri Haugen, James Hayes, Greg Lahti, Fletcher Larkin, Sean LeCrone, Michelle Gunter Moore, Ned Perme, Ann Presley, Vonda Rainey, Bob Snider, Holly Tilley, Donna Twyford, Marie Weaver, Lori Weeks and Patricia Wilkes. What sets the gallery apart is that the artists own and operate the gallery. Collectors are able to buy directly from the artists, visit with them about their inspiration and it makes the work affordable. Pleasant Ridge Town Center is located at 11525 Cantrell Road. The Art gallery hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 11 - 5p and Sunday afternoons 1-5p. The Art Group is a Gallery with a working studio, open to the public seven days a week or by appointment. It offers a wide variety of local, original fine art at affordable prices. The artists are available to do commissioned works. Our satellite gallery is located inside the Downtown Marriott Statehouse Convention Center. We had a great time these past few days at the AMFA Art Market, and the fun isn't over yet. Join us today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to shop with dozens of other artists and us. On the fence about dropping by? This art market gives you the chance to discover more works by AGG artists, learn more about us, build your art collection, and more, all at the fine arts museum.

You can find us in the Glass Box from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and works by Sandra Sell & Fletcher Larkin upstairs!

Today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can find contemporary works by Art Group Gallery artists in the Glass Box at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. Today is the last day of the Richard Stephens Watercolor Workshop, and our artists have had a wonderful time over the past few days. We want to thank Richard for taking the time to host this workshop and for sharing his techniques, and we also want to thank everyone who joined us for this event.

We're excited to share a recent accomplishment by artist Shelley Gentry, which you might have missed last week. Shelley entered "Seaside Stripes" in AcrylicWorks 13, an annual competition that celebrates today's top talents in the medium. Works that are accepted are featured in a special newsstand publication presented by Artist Magazine. Not only was Shelley's work accepted, but it also received an honorable mention! As Shelley puts it, "Snapping photos over that bin of discarded beach towels, while everyone else admired the stunning beach sunset, really paid off this time!"

Shelley is working the gallery today, so stop by to congratulate her in person and see the work on display!

Are you a member of the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts?

Just a reminder, the AMFA Art Market begins one week from today! The first day is for members only, but don't worry if you're not a member; the Art Market will be open to the public all weekend long.

AGG artists will be participating in the AMFA Art Market, but the gallery will remain open during our usual hours. So if you're not an AMFA member, come shop local art with us at the gallery next Friday instead!
