Some of you may be aware that earlier this year we lost Werner Trieschmann. Werner was a native Arkansan, celebrated playwright, and an all around good guy! His passing left a bit of a hole in the Arkansas theatre scene. He wrote a bang up play for us last year, Tribal, and he was actually the first person we had on board when we started making initial plans for the show. We were all so excited to have him back for year three in some capacity or other. Unfortunately, fate had a different plan in mind.

This year’s 24 Hour Plays: Little Rock is dedicated to Werner Trieschmann. We’re not sure where in the universe his soul now resides but we hope that he’s watching from somewhere pleasant and enjoying the show!

Thanks for everything, Werner! We love and miss you, friend, and hope that you’re as proud of us as we are of you!

Ever wonder how we keep up with all of the costumes worn in The 24 Hour Plays: Little Rock? How exactly do we create 24 different costumes in only 24 hours?

We’ve got a couple of highly talented and super organized people on staff to insure that all the right clothes go on the right people! That’s how!

Meet:
- He’s a teacher and professional pirate and he doesn’t take either vocation lightly!

- She’s a teacher and a third time 24 Hour Plays: Little Rock alum and has the voice of an angel!

Well, look at that! We just realized that we’ve got a lot of teachers on our team this year! The future of arts education is pretty bright, if you ask us!
