I have taken a break from painting….it hasn’t been intentional but April and May are crazy months in our family (along with December!).
I did load up ALL of my pieces and drive them to Mississippi last week to display The Mustard Seed Antique Mall] in a booth with my Mom’s amazing B. Baubles candlesticks!
I didn’t realize how much painting I had done over the past year as a part of my healing for my brain injury until I had to load it all in my car and still have room for Jennings and our luggage!
I am starting to feel the “itch” to paint again and I hope I can create some new pieces soon!

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am an art-aholic! I can’t even tell you how many pieces I have on walls, in storage and in our attic but this piece in my kitchen is super special!! My Great-grandmother, Ruth Goodwin Dyer, painted this picture March 11, 1909. Love of art runs in the family! I wish I was as talented as she was. I am so lucky to have this treasure to pass down to my daughter or nieces.
