I will be teaching Abstract Figurative Clay at AMFA / Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts on Thursdays, September 17th - October 29th.

In this class we will explore the human form through artistic abstraction. Through demonstrations and guided practice, instruction will focus on simplifying the figure into essential geometric forms while exploring gesture, proportion, surface design, and personal expression.

Today we installed “Two Songbirds” at UCA Department of Art & Design in the Art Alley between the Fine Arts and 3D Buildings. Thank you to the faculty and staff at UCA for making this happen. It will be on display for the next year, go check it out if you are in the area!

“Freedom Struggle”

This new bronze sculpture will be joining me August 7-9th for the 42nd Sculpture in the Park ‘Show and Sale’ in Loveland, Colorado. Come see it, along with many more if you are in the area. This is the largest outdoor juried show and sale in the United States, you don’t want to miss it!
