Today was a good day 💕
And to be honest it has not felt like a good day for a while. I had coffee with a fellow store owner friend this week and we discussed how hard this year has been, for business owners and truly just everyone. It’s a fine line of trying to be honest about what it’s like owning a business and not feeling like we are guilting our precious regulars into doing more than they should. Our door has been SO slow this year when it comes to retail. If it wasn’t for classes we wouldn’t be here anymore. And then this fall our registration has not been what we needed.
Truthfully I left coffee with my biz friend with a plan to just make it through Christmas then we can decide what we can do in 2027.
But today was a good day 💕 y’all showed up in such an unexpected wave that I had to come up to the studio to help out with the rush! Lanie Jo even hopped in to teach people our project!
We do our Meet & Makes for free, we want this to be a taste of what we offer. Some of you told us you didn’t want to leave and that we should charge for this. And i’ll take those kinds of compliments any day! But we want this to be a gift for you to come enjoy, fall in love with creating at the Studio and come back to visit for another class.
