ROLL CALL - art week 2025 collective installation on the street in Wynwood, Miami, for the 6th year in a row, artists have sent their work from around the country and world to be a part of this installation. This year, I asked people to write their names (or otherwise represent themselves) in the tradition of a graffiti crew. Installed tonight were: and - with a few more on the way. Thank you for sharing your art! and friends

Collaboration and abstraction. I’m collaborating with one of my favorite artists on something so bonkers I can’t even believe we are doing it. The starting point was an original crocheted work of mine called “love you to death” (swipe to see). As said, “you can go anywhere from anywhere.” Wait till you see where we are going with this! 🔜 🔜 🔜

I was going to say “progress” but it’s more like “evolution”. My piece at the production wall on NW 5th Ave and 28th Street in Wynwood Miami is changing all the time. My latest addition was painting the pavement green and adding some painted yarn stencils on the ground. I’m using my own doilies for this, plus doilies by in layers. The hanging pieces were lit for a few days, but someone pulled one of them down, and that broke the lights. I’m thinking of ua different arrangement for the ceiling and lights, but they will definitely be back! More yarn is coming to the center roll up door, too, fear not! It’s a joy to have this spot to work with! Thanks for this opportunity 🙌🙌🙌🙌 for the high level assistance and to pita 🐛🐛🐛

Glued this beast - my largest yarn straight letter piece to date - to this gate with 20 gorilla glue sticks and a cordless hot glue gun. So many burnt fingertips! So many glue strings! So worth it. Thanks for inviting me to bring my yarn weirdo self to your party 🎉 I’m still adding to the wall. I may never stop adding and replacing what gets removed, and I’m fine with that. (For the worriers among you, no, this roller door is not in use.) And thank you to for the glue advice. 🧶 💣

Wednesday morning - you know when you’re late to a party (through no fault of your own, like the Uber was late or something) and everyone turns to admire your fabulous dress? That’s at this party! Thanks to the slow us postal service, everyone can fully admire her work. She chose a thrifted blanket for her background and added her dark red/brown letters with highlights and everything! And a good dose of my fave neon pink. I wonder how long it will stay up?

Tuesday morning after Basel - I just keep painting it. I like the current version, but I also have lots of paint and might change it again. The rain on Monday didn’t really affect it, being some kind of acrylic fiber. Why not why not why not ♾
