2020 pushed me, stretched me, and grew my appreciation for the people in my life that I love so much! I got married, moved to Texas, became a dog mom to two crazy puppies, graduated from college, bought a house, and started my first teaching job. I’ve learned so much, and I’m looking forward to learning more in 2021! Here’s to creating memories and choosing a purpose-filled life in the new year.

with our parents and siblings, Chase and I had the sweetest ceremony to start our new chapter as husband and wife.
In a few months, we hope to host a large celebration/reception with everyone who wasn’t able to be with us in person today—due to the circumstances that we’re in right now.

this past year, God stretched me, challenged me, and proved His grace time and time again. I don’t think we can ever grasp how fully blessed we are, but thank goodness for new days and new beginnings to try! a word that has resonated with me this past year is pursue. through cancer diagnosis, chemo, radiation, hard decisions for the future, and more— God still lays His hand of comfort on us. He is still pursuing. When traveling the world and experiencing all new cultures and situations—He pursues through the people. God pursued me through my close friends and acquaintances from my time abroad (yes I am still talking about it) and hasn’t stopped! He has continually pursued me through my sweet fiancé who hasn’t stopped showing me the grace that God gives.
so, here’s to 2020. You have big shoes to fill.
