Ironman 70.3 Texas Little Elm

Extreme winds. Brutal race. Pure mental game.

Fast bike at the beginning then headwinds on almost 80% of the course. 🥵
Tough run with heat, wind, and the accumulated fatigue from the bike.🥵

Proud to finish Top 16% overall

Grateful to my team Bertha, , Dasha, my coach Andy & Gabriel, friends, Tuto, George, Chico.

And thankful for the moments shared.

We keep pushing. Always.

🌟 Ironman California - Completed in 11:23 🌟 New Personal Record 🙏

From start to finish, every second was earned.

🏊 Swim: 1:05 - 2.2 miles / 3.6k— Cold and fast! Almost got disqualified when I realized I had to swim on the left side of the buoy. Fought the current, adjusted, and powered through!

🚴 Bike: 5:41 - 112miles / 180 K — Windy and relentless! The headwinds pushed hard, but the way back felt like flying. Every mile was a battle won. I was super tired on the bike !!! 🤨

🏃 Run: 4:20— Strong, steady, and determined to the end. Every step felt like fuel, pushing me closer to the finish. I finished fresh !!!

Funny thing ; I ate like 10 oranges along the run course 🤪

The race was part of the preparation for the . Thank you to my family members, , teammates and my coach Andy and Rujano

Sometimes the best stories come from the unexpected moments. 😆

Saturday training w/ the team !! Very hot day , 93F ☀️

Ironman 140.6 Prep is the hardest training I’ve ver done !!! Insane…
-Swim: 1:37min | 2.1 miles
-Run: 2:18min | 13 miles

Prep del Ironman 140 es una locura. Nunca antes se había entrenado así l!!!
-Nado: 1:37 | 3K
-Corrida: 2:18 | 20.8K

My 2nd Ironman 70.3 RIO was a tough race !! 5:55min. A windy and warm day.
Great Race !! Full of surprises and determination to change the race strategy.
Key motivation was a very cold coconut water after crossing the finish line 😁🌴

Swim: 48min | Unfavorable weather conditions, many waves and strong rip current moving away from shore “surfing beach”

Bike: 2:55min | 17 miles of hilly course, my legs began to fatigue fast !!

Run: 2:08min | Heavy legs and HHR Z5. I could not reach my pace due to high heart rate.

More to come!! Ready for the prep for IM 140.6 Cozumel. A lot of things to improve and learn on.
