We have some amazing workshops coming up next Saturday, October 24th! All materials are included in your class fees so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the creative process!

From 11am -1pm is one of our most popular classes, Needle Felting! How adorable is this Highland Cow and Pumpkin scene! Homespun Felts will walk you through step-by-step as you relax and create your own whimsical Cow!

From 2:30-5pm is our watercolor pencil workshop (there is only 1 or 2 spaces left for this class). Here you will explore this fun medium learning about light and shadow, blending colors and using water to activate the pigment from the pencils.

Finally, we have our evening Paint and Sip acrylic painting class from 6pm to 8pm. Bring along your own fun drink and join us as Art Parties with Colleen walks you through painting this festive autumn themed painting!

We are looking for a few people who are looking to explore their creativity and either develop new skills in jewelry making, or who just want to make fun projects!

Join us for these hands-on seed bead jewelry making classes and make something beautiful for yourself or gift them to someone!

On Friday October 16th we have bracelet making from 11am-1pm. You will be able to chose your own colors and make a beautiful flower bracelet!

On Sunday, November 8th we have earring making where you will chose your own color beads and create these beautiful snowflake styled earrings!

All materials are included in the $28 class fees so all you have to do is show up ready to create!

Looking for something fun to do next week, this beginner-friendly class on Thursday, October 15th is just what you need!

Come hang out from 11am to 1pm with us for a needle felting class where you create a festive Jack-O-Lantern or Pumpkin! Homespun Felts will guide you along easy to follow step-by-step instructions and all materials are provided in your $45 class fee.

This is a wonderful class for retirees and home school kids over 12. Needle Felting is such a fun craft to learn and do!

We are always changing up the selection of coloring books and how-to books to keep a variety for you!

This time we brought in a fun and easy to follow "Pencil Magic" book which is perfect for those just starting out drawing to provide helpful tips and techniques.

For those who love to take a few minutes out of your busy day to relax and color, we have a gorgeous "Sugar Skull" book where they even provide a color palette for you to help you get started if you need it.

And since the holidays are just around the corner, why not a Christmas coloring book?

For the younger kids, we have 2 really fun painting and activity books where each page actually has paint swatches right on the pages! The included brush makes this the perfect little beginners painting book, just add water!

Looking for a fun activity to do with freinds and/or family next Saturday? We have a few spaces available for this popular watercolor workshop on Saturday, October 17th from 11am-1pm.

Join us for this beginner- friendly class in creating beautiful watercolor Heirloom Pumpkins! In this relaxing class taught by Jenn Rissler , you will learn how to control and manipulate water in a wet on wet style, creating shadows, adding highlights and have fun with color! In addition, you will learn basic types of watercolor supplies you will need such as brushes, papers and paints.

All materials are included in your $45 class fee so all you have to do is show up and have fun! Class size is limited allowing for a more relaxing and intimate experience.

We are so excited to be hosting local author Kathleen M King Kathleen M King for a special 2-part workshop "Time: Tyrant or Treasure- 11 Steps to Embrace Life in All its Messiness" on Wednesday October 14th and 21st!

Do you view time as a tyrant? Like an ogre standing at the foot if your bed in the morning ready to hit you over the head with a giant to-do list? In this workshop you will learn a light-hearted, but practical 11-step approach to help you live with imperfection in yourself and others. Let time become a bottomless treasure chest that contains all you need to make the day calm, stress-free and joyous!

You will discuss and utilize journaling techniques such as Creative Visualization, Flow Writing and Observations and Reflections, just to note a few, and learn how to incorporate them into practice.

We are excited to welcome back Gregory Snader Gregory Snader to our gallery wall this month!

Gregory's work with insect portraiture began with a walk down a sidewalk when he stumbled on a honeybee. Originally intending to document insect deaths with his portraits, he also began to study about their deaths. He learned about the patterned lives they live, and felt a connection to the patterns in our own lives, that are rich and interesting to explore.

With this series, Gregory is presenting insects to the viewer as seen with his own eyes, without any magnification devices. Originally his work began with an impulse to capture a world that largely happens out of sight and is easily missed. Following that impulse, he discovered a world that can inform us about ourselves. Gregory invites viewers to look closely at the world around them with their own eyes as they too may discover a world rich with detail and vitality.

Gregory's art will be on display all month and is for purchase in addition to art cards and signed 8x10 giclee prints.

We are open Wednesdays through Sundays and we welcome everyone to stopnin and admire the details in his work.

Whatcha doing next week? Squeeze in some creative time for you and your friends with one of our art and craft classes! We've got a variety of beginner-friendly hands-on fun classes that are the perfect way to spend some quality time together or for yourself!

Wednesdays October 14th and 21st is a 2- part Life Skills journaling workshop where you will learn a practical but light-hearted approach to help you live with imperfection in yourself and others. Journaling techniques such as Creative Visualization, Flow Writing and Observations and Reflections are just a few techniques you will review.

Thursday, October 15th is one of our popular needle felting workshops, where you can make either a whimsical pumpkin or Jack-O-Lantern. No experience is needed for this relaxing, fun craft!

Friday, October 16th is our Seed Bead Flower Bracelet making workshop where you will design and learn how to create a beautiful flower bracelet for yourself, or to give as a gift!

Saturday, October 17th from 11am -1pm is our popular watercolor painting workshop where you will learn essential techniques such as how to manipulate water, color blending and more! No experience is needed to learn how to paint these festive pumpkins!

Saturday, October 17th, from 2:30-4:40 is just a fun and relaxing class where you will get to decorate a ceramic pumpkin using decoupage and patterned materials to create one-of-a-kind festive pumpkin decor for your home!

All materials are included in your class fees, but pre-registration is required as class space is limited.

What an amazing workshop this afternoon, an Introduction to Soft Pastels! This was a new art medium to all of the participants, and everyone created spectacular pieces!
