Lithopolis Honeyfest Friday & Saturday after Labor Day The mission of the Lithopolis Honeyfest is to educate visitors about the art and science of apiculture (beekeeping).

To raise awareness of the importance of the honey bee on the pollination of crops, to increase the consumption of honey, and to educate about the beekeeping industry. With the involvement of honey and beekeeping trade associations, we see this event as a component in preserving apiculture, not just in Ohio, but nationwide and globally. Enjoy a fascinating day of unique attractions - bee beards; ho

ney tasting of all flavors, colors and textures; honey extracting and bee hive inspecting. Meet beekeepers, explore equipment and discover products direct from the hive. See a real queen bee and her colony up close under the glass of an observation hive. Listen to great live music, browse quality arts & crafts, and spend family fun time at The Gilmore Group's Busy Beehive. Scrumptious honey-made food and be sure to sample mead (honey wine) at the mead & wine tasting. Grab a honey brew at the Bloom-Carroll Kiwanis beer garden. Before flying off, take home a memory with a sweet souvenir shirt, fit for a queen Taste of Honey cookbook and stingingly elegant hand-painted glassware. FREE ADMISSION, PARKING & SHUTTLE

Important Update regarding Memorial Day Festivities!

The Village has Cancelled Movie night for Sunday, 5/24 due to inclement weather. They will reschedule sometime this summer!
The Parade and Car Show will take place as scheduled (only cancel if there is lightning in the area at Parade time (10am).

Anyone that plans to be at the service at the Cemetery following the parade....NO VEHICLES may be parked on the grass, please park elsewhere!

Thank you to all of our Volunteers, The Village of Lithopolis, Wagnalls Memorial and Bloom Township for your hard work in coordinating the events! Rain, rain go away....🇺🇸🇺🇸☔️
