Academy of the Arts To provide students of all ages with the skills they need to enjoy dance and music for a lifetime. We do not believe we are the best because we're the biggest.

We want all of our students to leave their lessons with a love for dance Since we were founded in 1997 we have taught thousands of students performing arts. We started off small and have grown to be one of the largest studios in Dekalb County. We believe dance education encompasses far more than technique or the steps your children will learn. We believe the discipline of dance training gives youn

g people a better understanding of commitment by offering them a chance to learn, experience the spirit of teamwork, and understand what hard work can accomplish. Our goal is to educate the minds, bodies, and souls of our students, to teach them the skills needed for a successful life, whether or not they stay involved in dance. Instead, we believe we're the biggest because families think we are the best.

Recruitment for the 28th Debutante Scholarship Program and Cotillion, presented by the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is now open. The application is available online, and the deadline to apply is April 17, 2026.

access the application. The first virtual informational session is April 2, 2026 at 7:30PM.
