The Litchfield Skyview opened its gates for the first time on June 29th, 1950 on historic Route 66. It is one of four remaining drive-in theaters still in operation along the route continually for the past 72 years and is the only one in Illinois on the Mother Road. The Litchfield Skyview is a member of the Route 66 Hall of Fame. We are open seasonally from April to October. We play movies every Friday and Saturday, rain or shine. Come out to the Drive-In on June 12 & 13 for a classic Disney weekend! We'll be showing Peter Pan and Treasure Island on Friday night and Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 2 on Saturday night..........4 absolute classics!

It will be a fun-filled family weekend to come out to the drive in to relive a younger time in your life and/or share a new tradition with your kids or grandkids! It will definitely be a family-friendly weekend for sure!!!

What an amazing morning we had today!

Bright and early we had the amazing opportunity to be the meet spot for the Official Route 66 Centennial Jeep Run – Illinois !

It was such an honor to be part of this event and to meet such amazing people.

Thank you to Matthew Snoden Walburn for allowing us to take part in this. You put on an amazing event and were great to work with! Such a heartfelt and spirited speech you gave.

Thank you to Team Victory Lane for helping sponsor the event.

Thank you to all of the people who showed up and came out to the concessions stand purchasing merch, getting passports stamped, purchasing food, and having great conversations. This was one of the nicest groups of people we have met and we loved meeting all the furbabies as well!

And most importantly thank you to our amazing employees that worked this event. They all worked late last night and still woke up and got to work by 6 am this morning, ready to take on this huge event!
