Lisbon ARTS Gallery The ARTS Gallery is an artisan cooperative located in Lisbon New Hampshire. Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Check out our events and classes!

You can find paintings, prints, pottery, wool and yarn, crochet items, and more made by our local artist. The Ammonoosuc Region Arts Council was incorporated in the state of NH as a not-for-profit Corporation 3/12/1992. Obtained federal 501(c)(3) non-profit status for income purposes 6/15/1993. Opened the ARTS Gallery on Lisbon's Main Street, May 2002, with the generous support of the Woodsville G

uaranty Bank; this cooperative gallery features works of the artists from the North Country of Northern New Hampshire and Vermont's North East Kingdom, offering various arts classes and opportunity to the creative spirit of community members of all ages. NH Main Street Center Resource Team targeted the ARTS Gallery as the potential "Anchor store" for the Down Town Lisbon area. Instituted the Fall Festival of the Arts in the year 2000 and enjoys ongoing success. It was also mentioned in the report of the NH Main Street Resource Center Team as a measure to restore the Downtown area of Lisbon. The Ammonoosuc Region Arts Council is a not-for-profit organization that depends on member support for our community and school arts programs.

🌿 Meet our August Artist of the Month: Thea Dow! 🌿

We are so excited to feature Thea Dow, a local artist and art teacher whose work is inspired by the natural beauty right here in our own community.

Thea tries to use local florals and plants in as much of her artwork as possible, creating pieces that capture a little bit of the beauty of the seasons around us.

She originally started selling her artwork when she realized something many artists can probably relate to—she simply didn’t have room to keep it all for herself! 😂

And now, creating and selling her artwork has become a family affair. Her son enjoys helping her make and sell her pieces, too! ❤️ We love seeing local artists share their creativity with our community, and we can't wait for you to see Thea's beautiful work at the gallery this month.

💜 Meet our August Artist of the Month: Diana of Purple Plateau Farm! 💜

We're excited to feature this wonderful family-owned farm right here in Lisbon!

Inspired by visits to lavender farms out west, Purple Plateau Farm began growing lavender in 2021. Today they create a beautiful collection of handcrafted products using plants grown on their farm, including fragrant lavender bundles, sachets, shea butter soaps, shower steamers, candles, hot packs, and their popular Little Fizzies bath bombs. They also offer delicious local honey, and this fall they'll be adding gorgeous mums to their farm.

Stop by the Lisbon Arts Gallery to browse a selection of Purple Plateau Farm's locally made products and help us celebrate another talented member of our community. There's nothing quite like bringing a little piece of New Hampshire home! 💜
