Don't miss the Moxie Car Show!

This popular event kicks off Sunday morning (July 12) and takes place off of the Festival grounds at Beaver Park (37 Cotton Road, Lisbon), with gates opening bright and early at 8:00 a.m.

Each year, hundreds of auto enthusiasts gather to showcase and admire beautifully restored classic cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles. Whether you're a dedicated gearhead or simply appreciate incredible craftsmanship, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Even better, all proceeds benefit the Sunshine Senior Group at Parks & Recreation. This fundraiser helps support additional programming, including meals, activities, outings, and more for local seniors in our community.

Admission is just $5 for spectators, and vehicle registration is only $10.

We're not just mad about Moxie.

Whoopie pies are pretty important, too!

Every year, we invite dozens of young Moxie Festival attendees to participate in the annual Whoopie Pie Eating Contest, and the competition is always fierce—and fun!

This year's event is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, in front of the Festival Stage. Depending on attendance, contestants will compete in one of two age brackets: 8–12 and 13–16 years old.

Each contestant keeps their hands behind their back, and after the crowd counts down to the start, the frosting flies! The first contestant to finish earns bragging rights and some Moxie swag to take home.

We're also excited to have our friends at Nutty Nettie's sponsoring this year's contest with their fabulous, award-winning whoopie pies. Be sure to check them out on Facebook to learn more about their two locations and all the delicious treats they offer!

👟2026 marks the 27th year of the MOXIE FESTIVAL 5K! Rain, shine, wind, or heat — runners make every year an incredible race, and we expect this year to be no different. This popular event attracts runners of all ages and skill levels, all ready to take on the famous “Heart Attack Hill!”

Over the years, the race has welcomed as many as 750 participants, making it a favorite tradition for competitive runners and casual joggers alike.
