They are making dust today - exterior maintenance happening! Pardon the noise! It doesn’t affect anything inside this week at all! 😊

There will be some necessary dust & noise happening at the Lisbon Historic Scenic Theatre starting today and throughout the next few weeks as weather allows and the work/time takes.

Swenson Masonry is in town and starting work on the chinking of the exterior of our historic building. A very much needed repair to preserve our wonderful main street theatre! They are set up in the back (our apologies to our neighbor businesses & their clients & customers as we know this is an inconvience to them.) Please be assured Kent and his team are top notch, and we know they will do their best to be as courteous and discreet as possible.

They will not be on Main Street this week so there so be no issues with any interruptions for Happy Days. They intend on keeping dust to the east (alley side when its possible - wind is out of their control). They are aware that Crazy Days on Main is Thursday so they are going to do their best today to get most of the noise & dust done if possible.

Thank you for understanding in advance! This does NOT affect anything at the theatre planned inside, as this is ALL outside cosmetic work completed during day hours only.

We just hung up with WDAY TV News and we are excited to announce we will be live streaming this at the Lisbon Historic Scenic Theatre on Thursday night - the 18th. We felt it was only fitting to allow everyone to come together, in our theatre that would like to watch together, share together, and be together again. It affected all of us. Our sister communities are important to us. When they hurt, we hurt. But we are stronger together! We rebuild together! We support each other!

Our doors will open by 5:00 pm - for anyone wanting to come in, grab some popcorn 🍿 or snack, and if you want to sit and visit with others, you are welcome to do so while you wait. There is NO charge to come watch, but as the best line a famous commercial says “Popcorn is extra!”.

Feel free to share- help us get the word out. It’s Happy Days week, Crazy Days on Main Street - so it is a perfect day & night to spend in Lisbon!

THANK YOU to our friend Christina of Christina Jo Photography for taking our Red-Carpet Premiere Medora: Empress of the Badlands photos which seems like a dream still! To think it was barely a week ago that it happened right here! As our gift to you all in attendance, you are free to download and share your pictures from the evening (maybe a shoutout to Christina Jo Photography and our Lisbon Historic Scenic Theatre and Canticle Productions and Schultz Wrangling could help keep us out there for everyone to follow! It truly was a collab worth a million words!) We hired Christina to document the night, for us as much you all, and we sure hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

We have MORE pictures to share also from the night, that others shared with us! We will share those in another post as we feel that so many will get lost if we put them all in just ONE place! It is a way to lead up the last few days as we head into the final shows sadly of this fantastic movie!

Thursday - Sunday this week - NIGHTLY at 7 pm are the last scheduled shows. You do NOT want to miss this one!

Just as heads up, we are STILL receiving calls from ALL over wanting to get in on seeing THE HOTTEST MOVIE AROUND! We have requests for people driving this coming weekend from the Twin Cities and Duluth and as far south as Nebraska! They wanted to confirm tickets, so they were guaranteed a seat! 😲 We assured them, we will make sure they have seats! It is the thing to host them correctly!

We have a couple more radio interviews to go this week, to our good friends in New York again (remember they liked us last year for our "8 days of Happy Days"! They are wondering what we are up now that is getting all this crazy publicity? and well, a few other stations that picked up the "16 sticks of butter a night" and felt that there must be story to this!

Memorial Day is meant to thank those who serve & served and gave so we have our freedom! We are forever thankful for those here at the Lisbon Historic Scenic Theatre!

Those attending TONIGHT that have served in any branch if our armed forces, we honor you by offering you a discounted admission to Medora: Empress of the Badlands.

Tickets🎟️
Veterans (with valid ID): $10
General Admission (all ages): $15

Our film begins promptly at 6 pm. There are NO trailers. This movie is 2 hrs in length. We promise you that this is a film that you will not want to leave your seat! 😊

Our doors will open by 5:30 pm, or a little before to accommodate the many that have called to inquire on it. We are general admission, non reserved seating.

If you are looking to grab a bite to eat in Lisbon before our film the Lisbon Bissell Golf Club is open all day, I Scream U Scream is open, Pizza Ranch is open, and Subway is open. Or maybe you want to make a picnic supper and take in our beautiful Sandager Park. There are MANY updates happening!

We even have started our slushy 🥤machine…. so summer must be here?!? We will have popcorn🍿 to go as always!
