Davie Burson, daughter of Levi and Torri Burson, was born March 24, 2025. Due to some unforeseen health issues, Davie was medi-flighted from Enid to an Oklahoma City hospital immediately after her birth. She is currently still in the hospital. In an effort to try to relieve some of the costs of her health care and transportation costs for the parents as they make numerous trips between Alva and Oklahoma City, friends of Levi and Torri are having a benefit team roping and Facebook auction.

The #12 handicap team roping will be held Sunday, June 8, 2025. There is a flyer posted that has the details of the roping. The roping will be 4 head with 1.5 seconds down system calculated after the 3rd round. No elite numbers will be used. No limit on entries. Cash only for entries and payout for the roping. A traditional barrier system will be used. The roping will be held at the Shannon Frascht arena in Alva unless weather doesn't cooperate and in that case it will be moved to the Alfalfa County Fairgrounds in Cherokee, Ok.

There will also be a Facebook auction that soft closes at 3 pm on June 8. Items will be posted on this page as they become available. If you would like to donate an item for the auction, please visit with Perry, Garrett or Shannon (numbers on flyer) or you may call or email Tami Frascht at 580.748.1466. The Venmo and PayPal information for Torri are listed on the flyer in case you don't want to attend the roping or participate in the auction but would like to make a donation.

Levi and Torri were very reluctant when first approached about this but they are very appreciative of everything that people are doing for their family as they try to navigate getting Davie home to join brother Owen in Alva.

Marshall and Lezlie Wier from Lipan, Texas, will donate a breeding their stallion Sevens Spanish Gold. The buyers will be responsible for collection/shipping fees . 2025 is looking better today !
Our hope is renewed and the burden of great concern has been lifted ! A great victory to celebrate in our nation today. It is but one battle in turning our nation back to honoring GOD .
I hope you will continue to pray for GOD to be in control and to guide our nation. It will be a long road to repairing the damage that has been done and to restore the confidence of the people in the leadership of our nation. Our economy will take some time to recover but it will with great leadership.
With all this in mind, it is our hope to set a standard of integrity and a reputation for the best service in all our businesses.
In order to achieve those goals with our stallions and the horses we produce, we will ask for your input and feedback.
As many of you well know, great horses and great livestock are not created by white pipe fences and paved roads . Great horses ,great livestock, bountiful crops, oil , gas, lumber and electricity come from the dreams and the labors of horsemen, stockmen, farmers, roughnecks, miners, loggers and linemen , and many if not most of those can not be seen from a hiway. It is that passion and the no quit attitude of those individuals that has given our nation the strength to withstand the attacks upon the freedoms we cherish so much. The people that live upon the land, down the dirt roads , out where the stars in the night sky can still be seen, are not baffeled nor dazzled by the BS promises of the unscrupulous, greed driven manipulators of this world. Our nation's citizens proved that in yesterday's election. Praise GOD !

We hope you know we dedicated to doing our best and believe you are also . Breeding season has been busy , last evening we had no call ins for collections today, so Hank and Austin are headed out to the AQHA Show at Tulsa to work on qualifing for the world show .
The opportunity to have these horses competing again is a blessing. There is ever present the drive and desire to compete and try to win.
BUT real winning has lots of shapes.
Winning with my GOD fearing, Christ loving friends is always very special. The family we have in the Blood of Christ is the best win of all.
When I watched the rig pull out this morning with better horses than I ever dreamed I would raise , I was most thankful for my young brother in Christ , who recently found out his family will be adding a son. Now that is a win to celebrate !

The half moon hanging in the clear, star filled sky caused me to stop to Thank GOD , for all the many lessons and blessings HE continues to pour out. The fires and floods at Ruidoso and around the country have shown it does not matter what talking heads are saying in their political charades. The real backbone and body of this nation are the people that come together to lift each other up and move forward in hard times. There are some real winners all around us . Praise GOD!

It seems an odd thing to me how people fall away from each other and even worse , away from GOD in times of comfort and prosperity.
Throughout the bible, we can read how GOD's people were blessed when they repented and united with one heart in obedience to GOD. And almost every time GOD pours out HIS blessings on HIS children, they become arrogant , self centered ,disobedient and fall away.
Why must it take tragedy, loss and heart ache to bring us back together and back to obedience to GOD ?
Some think man kind has progressed through out history. I disagree. Mankind is the same as they were when they were thrown out of the Garden of Eden. Disobedient, sinful and seperated from GOD.
UNTIL we are in a " bind " . Then we start looking for help . We start reaching out , we start over looking the flaws in each other and we start working together AND praying ,together, for GOD to save us !
Many are in a bind today with disasters .
AND our nation is in an even bigger bind because we have allowed greed and the lust for easy living to cause us to overlook the blatant disobedience to GOD. Our nation is drowning in a flood of sin that is seperating us from GOD.
When will the body of this nation come together in repentence and turn back to GOD ?
Will it be when we see our families and friends herded into gas chambers or trenches to be slaughtered like sheep and burned away as it has occurred in other nations in this world ?

I pray for all my friends and plead the Blood of Christ over our families, friends and our nation this independence holiday week , especially all those running up and down the roads trying to fill the void that only a relationship with Christ can satisfy. There is no win better than the win GOD gives us in our eternal salvation through the Blood of Christ. Wins on the world's stage may make the next few days a little easier BUT real wins with our brothers and sisters for Christ can change generations.

Let's lift each other up and
serve GOD this 4th and forever .

I visited with Darrell Winter , pastor of the RaceTrack Chapel Ruidoso Downs this morning . There are still people ( grooms) on the backstretch and with everything shut down , there are hungry people , the Chapel is trying to
help out with the food from the Chapel pantry and with a couple of pickup loads of food and water that has been donated . I asked Darrell to let me know what they need but he said they need time to inventory the donated food , first.
They have gone as for as even handing out frozen pkgs of hamburger meat to keep people from going hungry .

In light of the situation , we are going to auction off 1 breeding each to four of our stallions to help raise funds to replenish the chapel's pantry and freezers .
These breedings will be for stallion fees only, buyers will be responsible for farm and shipping fees. These can be used this season prior to 7/15/24 or the 2025 breeding season.
