Over time, the idea evolved into the modern birthstone lists we know today. In 1912, the Jewelers of America helped standardize a commonly used list of monthly birthstones.
♈ Zodiac Birthstones are connected to your astrological sign rather than the month you were born. Different stones have been associated with the 12 zodiac signs over time, often based on astrological traditions, symbolism, and the perceived qualities of each stone.
So, if you're a Leo born in August, for example, you might choose Peridot as your August birthstone—or explore stones traditionally associated with Leo. 🌿♌
