I took this picture just after visiting the beaches in Normandy. Learning about how so many never made it home, and the sacrifices made, was sobering to say the least. At least then there was something worth fighting for.

My heart is breaking today for all of those military families waking up and knowing their loved one may be called into action. I have no words for you. Just sending love.

To the mama’s who lost their little girls today…I’m so sorry.

Once a month a dear friend and I have a breakfast date. It has become time I treasure.

She and I think a lot alike and are different than a lot of those around us.
We are the weird ones, if you will.
(A fact we are 💯 fine with.)

I think these monthly breakfasts are one of my greatest forms of self care. We are community for each other. We all need community. The ones who know exactly who you are, flaws and all, and just love you fiercely. The people you can tell your ugly parts to and they don’t flinch. Those people are self care.

Sending a big hug out there to all the women who haven’t found their people yet. I know you feel alone, I’ve felt that and it’s hard. You aren’t. Just know you aren’t alone. This woman wouldn’t flinch. I wouldn’t look away. Unfortunately we cant all meet for breakfast once a month, but I’m on this little space.

I send you a virtual hug and a wish for you to find your people irl. If you have some already, may I suggest a once monthly breakfast meetup? It’ll do wonders for your soul.😘

Happy Monday lovelies. I hope this is a week filled with the perfect colored coffee, good sleep, creative time, and a little sunshine. Chickens are always good too.

And if that doesn’t happen, I hope at least you have some good snacks on hand. 😉😘

The last few New Year’s I’ve drawn oracle cards for the circle of the upcoming year. They are an anchor for me each month; I find that they help me focus in on one thing. I’m kind of scattered so that’s really helpful for me!!😜

In the middle of all the cards is the overall theme for my year. It is kind of the North ⭐️ if you will. This years is so perfect for what I’ve had rolling around in my noggin for the last few weeks.

community + gathering = connection

I’ve had the same conversation with many of you who maybe walk a little different path than the women around you. You need community and like minded women to connect with. Our little farm has been designed for women to gather. To give you a safe space to be yourself. I hope you will join me on July 21st for the Buck Full Moon.

Fun Fact:
The little red building on the farm serving as the man’s shop was once a granary. A sweet old man whose property was being sold, and all torn down, told us if we would put it up and use it we could have it. So that’s what happened. It’s from the late 1800’s and is a little bit of history. It was a part of the Told Farm.

He’s getting a much needed paint job this weekend. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!! We love love love to give old things a new life. ♥️
