Studio Theatre of Long Island will hold auditions for Neil Simon’s Comedy Classic “Barefoot in the Park!”

Dates: August 3rd and 4th at 7PM
Call Backs (by invitation): August 5th at 7PM

Location: Manes Studio Theatre of L.I.

Rehearsals: Rehearsals begin August 7 and will follow Sun/Tues/Wed/Thurs 7-9:30 through August.

Corie – F 20’s. Young, In Love, immature. Married for six days to Paul.
Paul – M late 20’s-mid 30’s Young, In Love. Has his first case in court in the morning.
Corie’s Mother – F Late 40’s-Early 50’s. Trying to adjust to her new role. Takes a Leap
of Faith.
Velasco – M late 40’s - mid 50’s. The upstairs neighbor. Sophisticated, Educated,
Adventurer. Older than he wants to be.
Telephone Man – M 30’s - 70’s. “Yeah yeah yeah lady, where do you want your phone?”

ALL INDOOR AIR CONDITIONED THEATRE CAMP AT MANES STUDIO THEATRE
FULL DAY - 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
Session 1 - July 6th - July 26th
Grades 2-5 will be doing “The Jungle Book” for kids!
Grades 6-9 will be doing Disney’s Camp Rock The Musical
Session 2 - August 3rd - August 23rd
Grades 2-5 will be doing “Finding Nemo” for kids!
Grades 6-9 will be doing “The Music Man Jr.

Our Studio Theatre family mourns the loss of a true friend, Sean Hendrickson.

Sean was known at Studio Theatre as an active parent, in Studio's Youth Theatre Program. He was always so proud of his daughter, Erika in the numerous plays she performed in.

For many years, Sean was a constant volunteer who dedicated countless hours for the betterment of the theatre. Whether it was in the Youth Theatre Program, helping with our raffles, in the theatre, using his IT knowledge to build our security infrastructure or just staying after hours to talk.

Sean was directly responsible for getting Studio Theatre a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies, which provided scholarships for Youth Theatre Program students.

Sean, only 54 years old, left us way too soon after losing his battle with cancer yesterday. His presence at the theatre was always with a smile and staunch support.

Most importantly, he was our friend and we are saddened by the news of his passing. We will miss him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Jennifer, and his daughters, Morgan and Erika.

Rest in eternal peace Sean.
