The Barn's vacuum cleaner finally bit the dust (pardon the pun)! If you or someone you know has a used (but working) vacuum cleaner, we sure would appreciate the donation! 301 E. Houston Street in Linden. We can even come pick it up if local - just drop us a line. Thanks in advance!

TONIGHT!! Jesse Brand (from TV's "Nashville" and Song of the Year recipient, etc.) joins creative forces with Lucky Boyd (not enough space to brag about this guy) for ONE NIGHT in Cass County! The TEXAS MUSIC BARN in Linden (301 E. Houston St.) is proud to host these two TRUE entertainers. Tickets are only $12 (Linden residents - $10) at the door, which opens at 6:30pm. Showtime - 7pm. The Dry Gulp Concession will be serving up Chili Dogs, Frito Pie, Nachos, Popcorn, set...-ups, etc. It'll be a high time in the old barn tonight...see you there! (If you don't like climbing that massive staircase out front, simply glide on in via the wooden bridge in the back.) Don't forget: this is a non-profit venue that relies on the generosity of the public sector...we are ALL volunteers. Help us keep the doors open so we can continue to bring you the best in live entertainment. Thank you! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST TO HELP GET THE WORD OUT

As you know, the Texas Music Barn is a non-profit venue located in Linden, Cass County Texas. Staffed by volunteers, the Barn relies 100% on funding from the private sector. Insurance, electric, water, etc. are continuing bills that are presently not being covered (which means the few of us who volunteer there are reaching into our own pockets...but we're tapped out). We sure could use your support! If you can't afford a few bucks, we can use things like a VACUUM CLEANER (ours finally bit the dust - pardon the pun)...if you think you might be able to help in any way, please contact us! TONIGHT! We are proud to play host to birthday boy Richard Bowden on his 70th!! This is an "open house" type celebration - come and go as you please - stop in for a minute or for the whole evening. One of Richard's greatest joys in life is "church lady food" - so if you can, bring pot luck and BYOB. There will also be a deviled egg contest (his fave) so make your best. The stage is set and the party will be kickin. Doors open at 7pm tonight - ya'll come! - 301 E. Houston Street, Linden, Texas

THIS FRIDAY THE 13th in Linden - 2-Bit Palomino, live at the Texas Music Barn! Tickets only $11, and the Dry-Gulp Concession will be serving up some grub. Clean, warm blankets for cuddlin' underneath will be waitin' for ya, and the Barn Hands will be there to do any ironing you need done. Okay, not really - but they love to meet new folks and see old faces so come on out - 7pm!
