Angelo Cristobal has been teaching Ballroom and Latin dance for over 20 years. Alongside his wife and dance partner, Kayla Cristobal, he competed nationally in ballroom dance, reaching #7 in the United States in 2013 and frequently shared the competition floor alongside many of the professional dancers featured on Dancing with the Stars.
Today, Angelo is passionate about introducing ballroom dance to the next generation. His philosophy goes beyond steps and technique, focusing on helping dancers build confidence, teamwork, discipline, musicality, and strong performance skills in a positive and encouraging environment. The program that he and his wife run is built around three core values: Confidence. Connection. Class.
Known for his energetic and engaging teaching style, Angelo specializes in helping dancers improve partnering, stage presence, musicality, technique, and overall confidence on the dance floor. He has experience teaching dancers of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to competitive performers preparing for showcases and competitions.
Together, Angelo and Kayla have helped develop successful youth ballroom dancers in both social and competitive settings, with students earning top placements at regional and national competitions. While both Angelo and Kayla maintain professional careers outside of dance, their passion project is introducing young dancers to the unique combination of artistry, athleticism, confidence, and connection that ballroom dance provides. Their goal is to create an environment where dancers not only grow technically, but also develop life skills that extend far beyond the dance floor.
