Milk & Honey Barn

Milk & Honey Barn We see a wedding as more than a celebration — it’s the beginning of a lifelong story.

Our joy is in offering a space where your love can take its first steps into something lasting and beautiful, surrounded by the people who matter most.

There’s just something special about giving old things a new life. 🤍

These old church pews have already held generations of people through worship, prayers, weddings, and so many meaningful moments—and now we’re bringing them back to life for a whole new chapter at Milk & Honey Barn.

A little sanding, a little sweat, and a whole lot of love. Soon they’ll be filled with family and friends watching couples say “I do.” 🥹

We love that pieces with a story get to become part of yours. 🤍

🐝 Blessing Sunday 🐝

Before the week begins, ask yourself:

Who can I make life a little easier for?

Hold the door.
Carry the groceries.
Mow a neighbor’s lawn.
Babysit for a tired mom.
Pray for a friend.

Little acts of love often leave the biggest impact.

“Love one another as I have loved you.” — John 13:34

Apparently today’s theme at Milk & Honey Barn is “kinda busy” 😂🐝

From the parking lot to landscaping, hanging bistro lights, window cleaning, landscape weeding, refinishing old church pews, building new ceremony backdrops, cleaning up after construction, and about 47 other things happening at once… there’s a whole lot going on around the farm today.

It may look a little chaotic right now, but every project is getting us one step closer to having this place exactly how we’ve dreamed it would be. 🤍

Long, hot days. Dirty boots. Lots of progress. 😂

Another long, HOT day of moving earth at the Milk and Honey Barn! ☀️🚜

The parking lot is officially taking shape, and every load of dirt moved gets us one step closer to being ready to welcome all of you. 🤍

There’s a whole lot of work happening behind the scenes right now—grading, hauling, cleaning, finishing, and putting all those final pieces into place. It may not be the glamorous part, but it sure is exciting to watch it all come together!

One hot day, one load of dirt, and one project at a time. 🐝🌾

✨ Lots happening around the barn this week! ✨

We’re officially in that exciting stage where all the little details are starting to come together. 🤍

This week, we’re working on:
🌿 New ceremony arbors & backdrops
🪵 Refinishing some beautiful old church pews
🚗 Putting in the parking lot
🧹 And LOTS (and lots 😅) of post-construction cleanup!

Every project is one more step toward making Milk and Honey Barn feel finished, welcoming, and ready for all the beautiful celebrations ahead.

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on! 🐝🤍

The best is yet to come at Milk and Honey Barn.

🌾 Blessing Sunday 🌾

Today’s challenge is simple…

Do one act of kindness that no one else knows about.

No recognition.
No applause.
Just a quiet blessing for someone else.

Kindness has a way of multiplying.

17 years ago today, we said “I do.” 🤍

Long before there was a Milk and Honey Barn, there was just the two of us—starting a life together and having no idea where God would lead us.

Seventeen years later, we’ve built a home, raised three amazing boys, dreamed some pretty big dreams, worked side by side, and now somehow get to spend our days helping create a place where other couples begin their own marriages.

Building a wedding venue has made me think a lot about marriage. The wedding day is beautiful and worth celebrating—but what comes after is even better. It’s the ordinary days, the hard seasons, the laughter, the growing, the forgiving, the choosing each other again and again, and looking back years later at everything God has built from that one “yes.”

Today I’m especially thankful for my husband, Jon, for the life we’ve built together, and for 17 years of marriage. ❤️

Happy anniversary to us. Here’s to many, many more.

Say the kind words you’ve been meaning to say.

You never know how much someone may need to hear, “I’m thankful for you.”
