I just HAD to see what the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder would look like with Copper Foil! 🌻✨

Want to make your embossing really POP? 🌻

I used one simple trick on this Sunflower 3D embossed background — just lightly dragging a white ink pad over the raised design makes all that gorgeous detail stand out!

Today I'm sharing one simple card and one easy technique that can completely change the look of your embossed backgrounds!

I'm using the beautiful Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder with Golden Glow Pearlized Specialty Paper, then lightly dragging a white ink pad over the raised design. It brings out all that gorgeous sunflower detail while still letting the shimmer of the paper show through.

I'm also adding a strip of the new Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper and using the Phrases & Frames Bundle for the greeting.

And I have another card to show you! I used the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder with Copper Foil on a fun easel card, along with a sneak peek of new Designer Series Paper coming in September.

Every card needs something unexpected… and maybe a little shiny. ✨

I watch a lot of home design shows a lot, and I'm always drawn to that one unexpected detail that makes a room special.

I think cards need that, too.

On this one, it's definitely the butterfly flying right off the front of this double Z Fold card!

And then there's that glimmer of foil on the butterflies.

I love cards that have a WOW without having ten thousand complicated steps. Give me a beautiful focal point, a fun fold, some pretty colors…and one little detail that makes you stop and look.

Would you REALLY use a Hot Foil Machine? 🤔

That’s what I wondered, too!

But here I am…loving it and finding all kinds of ways to use it! ✨

For these three cards, I used hot foil three completely different ways—a shimmering background, beautiful sentiments, and gorgeous foiled butterflies that become the WOW focal point on a fabulous fun fold!

It’s been so fun discovering just how versatile hot foiling can be.
