I didn't get a chance to show my Iceland work at the Fjord Folk Fest, so I'll be showing some at the Rockbrook Village Art Fair. Im so happy with them. They are STUNNING!

I'll have other popular pieces from the Midwest and Colorado too.

It's been a mushroom summer in Lincoln. These things are popping up in lawns all over town, and I can't drive past one without stopping.

Up close, the texture on that cap looks almost like leather. Either way, worth the U-turn.

Skipped the gym and headed to the countryside for a morning photo sesh.

Thought this was a grasshopper on a clothesline but with a closer look I think its a katydid. Either way it gave me a great subject for some high key/minimalist shots.

"It's Own Glow" is this ones name. This location isnt easy to get to. I only got to it with the help of fellow photographer Alisa Zuniga and her 4x4.

Most photos I see are of the grove next to this group. But I'm kinda partial to this little grove. Fortunately we had a calm morning and the lake gave us a perfect reflection.

I'm sad it'll be a full year before I get back to this spot in Colorado.

You only get so many fall seasons in your lifetime. Choose where you spend them wisely.

A fresh week and new beginnings. Is it too early to start dreaming about Fall?

Regardless, I'm pumped to head to Colorado next week with Nicole Comstock to meet up with a bunch of other amazing women photographers.

Quick life update: some unexpected family stuff came up so I won't be at Fjord Folk Fest in Minot this weekend, but hopefully next year.

So if you were watching and waiting for updates from the show, I'll be pivoting.

Rán's Realm and the rest of the Sögur Collection are still very much real and still debuting. I'll share here once everything's updated on the website. Thanks for your patience.

From the air, Iceland’s braided rivers are breathtaking, but sometimes you don't know what you truly have until you open up the camera roll.

Captured in 2025 it sat on my computer for quite a while with about 2,000 other images from that day. I knew it was a special one back then as it had an etherial shape of a woman or maybe mermaid. After seaching for a name, I found the Norse goddess of the sea, Rán. I thought it fit this piece perfectly and it became Rán's Realm.

Rán's Realm is a limited edition of 50, signed and numbered. Let me know if this Norse goddess has a place with you.
