Gather your friends, call your family, and assemble your whole kingdom for an unforgettable adventure filled with laughter, heart, and show-stopping music. Our cast, crew and pit have been hard at work creating a magical production that will delight audiences of all ages. That's right! A live orchestra is back!

But beware… just like a rare fairy tale treasure, there are only four performances — and when tickets are gone, they’re gone!

So dust off your crowns, polish your armor, and prepare your chariot. Next week, the gates open and your chance to join us in the swamp begins.

✨ Pink goes good with green…especially when 40 theatre kids take over the Black Box!

40 of our theatre kids piled into the Black Box tonight with couches, blankets, and snacks to watch Wicked together! A lot of quoting, a little singing, and a very strong collective opinion about certain characters.

Not a bad way to spend a night with your theatre people. 💚

Our technical theatre costume design final! Students were thrown into the ultimate designer challenge. After drawing their inspiration at random, they had a limited amount of time and a very interesting collection of materials to transform into a complete costume look. Today was one of those “this is why we do it” kind of days!

We celebrated “Theatre in Our Schools Day” at the Capitol with Nebraska Thespians, sitting in on the legislative session, meeting with senators, and sharing why theatre matters so deeply in our lives.

Theatre builds leaders. Theatre builds empathy. Theatre builds community.

Today was a reminder that our stages stretch far beyond the auditorium. Thank you to everyone who put in the work to make today happen!! 💚

Huge thank you to Leah Skorupa, our brilliant costumer for Shrek: The Musical, for making the trek to Lincoln and leading a prosthetic tutorial for our crew! Watching the magic happen was equal parts fascinating and mildly terrifying (in the best way).

Let’s just say, it’s all fun and games until someone casually removes their face at rehearsal.

Things are getting real, and we are one step closer to bringing the swamp to life. 💚
