We support all current UNL student filmmakers, regardless of you major, with monthly meetings, events, contests, and amazing film festivals. Cinema 16 is the film production club at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We work to provide students, of any major, who have in interest in filmmaking with opportunities to do just that – make, talk, and learn about film production! Some of our events include:
>>Monthly Meetings
>>Workshops led by current film students, alumni, or professionals in the field!
>>Critique nights – a place to show your work and get feedback.
>>Film Festivals – Whether you want to challenge your abilities with our 72 hour film festival or have an outlet to show your films on the big screen this is the place for you!
>>Contests – such as photography, and writing contests! Come and check out one of our meetings or events! The dates will be posted right here on this page!
