Step Modifications This is the official Step Modifications page. From here you can check updates about Step. STEP creates guides for customizing mod-able games.

Created by TheCompiler, STEP is a collaborative project with input from the modding community, technical volunteers, and project administrators. The goal is to provide tested and validated methods for establishing and maintaining an enhanced mod build. The STEP team collects information from the modding community through extensive mod testing, detailed reviews, feedback, and suggestions exchanged

We've been seeing significant increased website lag and intermittent bottlenecks since upgrading the server several months ago. We believe that this as well as our two unplanned downtime events were related to increased software demands associated with all of the upgrades.

As a result, we've decided that it's time for a hardware upgrade to support all of this upgraded software and mitigate the lag and downtime.

Therefore, the Step website will be down for maintenance for approx 1-3 hours beginning at 9:00 PM (2100) UTC (this would be 3:00 PM Chicago time), today, 1/13/2024.
