Scott McDonald Artist Scott McDonald is a Lincoln, Neb. native and self-taught watercolor artist.

His work has transformed over the years, shifting from abstract and cartoon-inspired acrylic paintings to the current watercolor and gouache series.

East coast photo dump. I arted so much art on this trip, first stop CoSM, Chapel of Sacred Mirrors then a lovely bike ride through Storm King Art Center, an impromptu stop at Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast. Then off to Boston to see the Isabella Stewart Gardner, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Boston public library. I didn’t even include photos while in D.C., Beacon New York or Mystic Connecticut. Incredible trip where I found tons of inspiration to work on my own paintings.

My work is currently on display at Nebraska Innovation Campus. This exhibit is located in the 2nd floor link at Nebraska Innovation Campus and is free and open to the public daily from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. through April 30.
