Our mission, here at Beyond the Brim, is to create a protected environment where writers of all ages and levels of experience can not only grow, but flourish. Writers have the opportunity to receive ample feedback of their work, in its various stages, and to discover and befriend an entire community of like-minded people with the security of knowing that each member has signed our Anti-Plagiarism

Contract. Violation of this contract is considered theft and fraud and is punishable to the full extend of the law. We, here at Beyond the Brim, understand that a vital element of a writer’s process is the gratification of having readers. We also know that writers are often the most avid readers. From the marriage of these ideas was born the “Meeting of Minds,” a gathering in which members participate in guided peer analysis and group discussion. The goals being for members to learn how to analyze their own work while writing it, so that they may bring their work to completion with more ease and less editing, and to create a support system for a group of, normally, isolated individuals.
