CJS is happy to announce we are moving to The Post starting today, May 4th, and going forward!

While there is no food service, you are welcome to bring in outside food, or order delivery from anywhere. Show Stoppers, which is just a half block away is offering a 10% discount to anyone who wants to dine-in before the CJS events. Just let your server know when you place your order.

Come to Screamers Family Restaurant, located at 803 Q Street in Lincoln's Haymarket, every Monday night 7:00-9:00pm for Monday Night Big Band and other jazz bands!

Their doors open for dinner at 6:00 pm and the menu for Monday evenings includes:

Capital Jazz Society will continue at Screamers in the Haymarket

You may have heard that Screamers is adding a new venue called, “Show Stoppers” in the Telegraph District. This does not have any effect on our current Capital Jazz Society schedule, the Monday Night Big Band and other jazz groups will continue to perform on the Screamers stage in Lincoln’s Haymarket at 803 Q Street.

The Screamers food menu will be undergoing some changes, but the same jazz you’ve been accustomed to will still be served weekly including the Monday Night Big Band tonight (Monday April 6, 2026 at 7:00 pm).
