For those of that have not been following the ongoing karaoke saga. For over a decade the company that manufactures karaoke tracks under the brand name sound choice have been using the threat of law suit to extort money from illegal karaoke hosts. Forcing them to purchase a small collection of their karaoke cds but doing nothing about the thousands of illegal karaoke tracks from other manufacturers. If you don’t believe me just look at the other posts on my site. The link below is just one of many you can find online, just Google Sound choice using key words like extortion racketeering or lawsuit.

Its time for an another installment of the sound choice licensed karaoke host that pirated off my hard drive
Like with all my CDs I assigned new numbers to them to keep them in order in my case. Because I have the entire music maestro 6000 series he only change I made with those was to remove the MM from the disk number. When I converted my CDs for use on my computer as is my legal right I used those same numbers. Here's are my Music Maestro CDs 6092 and 6422 being used by a former employee of mine on 11/18/2016
He tells people he paid over 11,000 dollars to be legal but neglects explain that he pirated all of his karaoke including copying all of my karaoke tracks onto his ilegal hard drive and then he conned his own mother and father into paying out the money when sound choice threatened to sue him.
Dispite their claims, sound choice does nothing to ensure that these pirates delete illegal karaoke. This criminal would not be able to compete with someone legal using only the sound choice illegally produced Gem series and sound choice would not get their monthly protection money.

This is without a doubt the best article I’ve ever read about Slep Tone,alias Phoenix entertainment partners, alias Sound Choice karaoke and how they profit from karaoke piracy. It’s a long read but for anybody that cares it’s worth the time.
