Game Over Arcade

We're still waiting on the insurance approval to move forward with construction, but we didn't want to sit idle! We've started ordering some exciting new additions for the arcade. Since many of these items take a couple of months to arrive, we went ahead and pulled out the credit card so we won't be delayed once we're ready to reopen.
✅ New custom carpet is currently being printed and shipped.
✅ The brand new Pokémon Limited Edition pinball machine will be arriving in just a week or two!
✅ We've also ordered several new games and a new prize machine.
The new games will temporarily go into Game On Adventure Park, and the games we rotate out will be thoroughly cleaned, refurbished, and saved to go back into Game Over when it reopens.
In the meantime, if you're craving some arcade fun, come on out and play at Game On Adventure Park! We’d love to see you there.

Update from the Donner Family – February 2026

Dear friends, family, and amazing community,

It’s hard to find the words, but we wanted to share where things stand.

Our home is a complete and total loss. Everything we owned was destroyed in the fire, and most heartbreaking of all, we lost our beloved cat. We found him in the rubble last week, and the grief still hits us in waves. 💔

Chris’s hand is still in a cast after his injury during the escape. He can move his fingers a little now, which is encouraging, but full use of his right hand is still weeks—possibly months—away. Recovery is slow, but he’s staying strong.

The arcade took a heavy hit too. Every single game inside suffered severe smoke and water damage. Some may be salvageable with extensive work; many sadly won’t be. The repair and replacement list is long: roof, carpet, tile, games, prize inventory, merchandise, walk-in cooler, paint, drywall, electrical, freezers, coolers, servers, TVs, tables, chairs, storage, and much more. It’s overwhelming, but we’re tackling it step by step.

We’re still waiting for the insurance settlement so we can start the rebuild in earnest. We already have contractors lined up and ready to go the moment funds arrive. One thing is certain: WE WILL REOPEN. No timeline yet, but we’re more determined than ever to bring back the fun, the community, and the joy that Game Over has always been about.

To everyone who has donated, shared kind words, sent messages, or just held us in your thoughts—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The GoFundMe carried us through this past month, covering the essentials and giving us breathing room when we needed it most. We’re truly humbled by the love and support pouring in from this incredible community. You’ve reminded us we’re not alone.

We had a fire on January 13 that completely destroyed our home above Game Over Arcade. The house is a total loss, the arcade suffered massive water and smoke damage. Game Over will be closed temporarily as we assess the damage and make necessary repairs. Chris, the kids and I are so grateful for all of the love and support we have received from all of you. Chris is going in for surgery on Tuesday to get his finger fixed, we have meetings with insurance and adjusters for the foreseeable future, but we are anxious to get the business back up and running. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and dont throw away your game cards! We will keep everyone updated and will reopen as soon as possible!
