Hi Race Fans - 2026 UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!

Our team is set for 2026. We will have John Willman in the 74W/291 ride and Alex Bartorillo in the 261 ride. It is a joint effort again with KAM Fueled Racing and John Willman Motorsports. This will be our 4th year together as a Team.

Tom Solderich will be our Crew Chief for the 261. Tom also supports the 74W/291 rides. Don Ervin will once again be in the racing consultant . Nathan Keim and Steve Keller will be there as crew along with Chad Shalaway

As for our progress, John is putting countless hours in the garage preparing the modifieds. Alex is working on the Sportsman too with the help of Tom. We are keeping the same frames so there is work to be done there.

There is also work in the line of sponsors. We have had some great ones in the past. We are really looking for sponsors for both cars including a primary sponsor. If interested please message or reach out to anyone.

KAM is named after the first letter of each child of the owner. It is nothing else. No business - we do not sell products or services. It is something better - a family. We started this as fans in the stands. Eleven years later and we are still going.

If you would like to be part of our family, please reach out. We have all intentions on being on the track this year. Financial support will get us there.

Not a day goes by that we do not think about Ernie. He was part of our racing family. We miss him. Each Saturday he would spend time talking to a 4 year old Alex in the booth about racing.

9/13 - Grandview. Not the start we had wanted. Went out for hot laps and the car had little power. Brought it back to the pits and that is when many divers helped out. It is amazing what other drivers will do to help you get out on the track.

First, Ryan Beltz dropped everything to jump right into the motor and start working on it. He diagnosed the issue and change the coil and module. Then Tim Buckwalter was checking the values and spark plugs, again dropping everything he was doing to help. Jimmy Leiby was there too along with our crew chief Tom Solderich. It was so great to see everyone helping out. With just Alex Bartorillo working on the car fulltime and still learning, it was great to have such nice and willing help around.

We were supposed to start 2nd in the heat race but elected to go to the back as we did not think it was right to the other drivers if we did not get up to speed. We finished toward the back and then started 6th for the consi. Ended up 7th but the work that was done by Ryan and Tim helped us greatly.

The 38er is still up in the air. Mr. Buckwalter, Tim's dad, was giving the owner of the 261 an earful telling him to get his son's car out there on Friday. We just may have to go! We love Mr. Buckwalter

Sponsors are always welcomed. We have Dex-Sam and are so lucky as our race season would have been over weeks ago without their help. Donnie is part of our family and is a big reason we are there.

We are really a small team with lots of heart.

3rd place at Grandview Last Night

Missing Ernie - he was very big in getting Alex started with racing. Alex would deliver diet iced teas to the booth every week when he was 5-6. Ernie would always take time to talk with him.
