🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT | Destini Richlin 🖌️

We’re shining the spotlight on Destini Richlin, a multidisciplinary artist whose creativity transforms everything from tiny canvases to larger-than-life public art!

With more than 13 years as a freelance designer and photographer, Destini’s artistic talents span fine art, set design, special effects makeup, public art, and beyond. Her work celebrates both imagination and the beauty found in everyday life.

One of her most recognizable bodies of work is the Tiny Painting Project—a growing collection of meticulously detailed, life-sized miniature paintings. While the canvases may be just 2×2 inches, the creativity behind them is anything but small.

Closer to home, you’ve likely seen Destini’s impact throughout Harnett County and beyond. She painted one of Sanford’s colorful Hive & Seek bee sculptures, created the interactive Hoppin’ grasshopper installation at Cape Fear Shiner Park in Lillington, and continues to bring public spaces to life through engaging, community-focused artwork.

Whether she’s creating intimate miniature paintings or vibrant public installations, Destini’s work invites us to slow down, look closer, and find wonder in the world around us.
