🖤 INDIGO THEATRE REMEMBERS TIM CURRY 🖤
Indigo Theatre is deeply saddened by the passing of the extraordinary Tim Curry, who died peacefully at the age of 80.
For generations of theatre lovers, Tim Curry was more than an actor. He was an icon. His unforgettable portrayal of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show helped create a character—and a cultural phenomenon—that continues to inspire performers and audiences around the world.
His fearless talent, incredible voice, magnetic stage presence, and unapologetic commitment to being wonderfully, gloriously himself reminded us of one of the most beautiful things about theatre:

As Indigo Theatre prepares to bring our own Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast to the stage, we do so with an even deeper appreciation for the performer who helped make this story so timeless.
Tim, thank you for giving the world Frank-N-Furter.
Thank you for giving generations permission to be different, daring, outrageous, and unapologetically themselves.
Your legacy will live on every time the lights go down, the music begins, and we hear those unforgettable words…
