Thirty years ago, Kaci Rhine was a second-grader performing in The Wizard of Oz at the Valley Players Theater in Liberty. This summer, she is directing the beloved musical while watching a new generation of her family step into some of the same roles.

The production, which opens Thursday, June 4, brings together three generations of one family and more than 65 cast and crew members for one of the largest shows ever staged by Valley Players Theater.
