A great crowd cheered on more than 40 kids who pedaled their hardest at the Seward County 5 State Fair Pedal Pull on Saturday.
Children ages 4-12 tightly gripped the steering wheel of John Deere pedal tractors while pulling a weighted sled just waiting for someone to yell “Full Pull!”
Congratulations to these kids who had the longest pulls of their age group.

The top 3 pullers in each Age Division who pedaled the farthest distance qualified to complete in the State Pedal Pull Championship at the Kansas State Fair. Please congratulate these kids and with them good luck at the State Championship Pedal Pull in Hutchinson on September 13, 2026.

And the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners in 3 age divisions. The Seward County 5 State Fair Board would also like to thank the members of the Ho**er, Liberal, and Southwestern Heights FFA Chapters who volunteered their time to make this event a success.
