One week ago we opened the world premiere of A Nation of Others.

In the days since, the dust has settled, the set has come down, and the cast and team has scattered for a well-earned spring break. We are tired—deeply, wonderfully tired—and incredibly proud of the work we created together.

For a brief moment in time, costumes, set, lighting, and projections came together to build the world of Ellis Island in 1921. Within that world, the music and staging gave voice to stories of confusion, commitment, fear, and—most of all—hope. Night after night, our artists stepped into those stories with courage and care, reminding us that opera can illuminate the human journey in ways both intimate and profound.

Though this production has closed, we know this story is only beginning its life. A Nation of Others will be told again. And until that next telling, we will carry the music, the memories, and the meaning with us as we rest.

With full hearts and deep gratitude to every artist, collaborator, and audience member who joined us on this journey. ✨

Spend a week focusing on your craft as a singer while working with members of the UK voice faculty. Grow your technique, build confidence, and collaborate with other passionate singers! 🎤✨

We heard someone say “no one cares about opera”… and yet here we are with full houses, standing ovations, and audiences ugly-crying in the lobby. 🤷‍♀️🎭

Opera: where people sing their feelings, die dramatically, come back in flashbacks, and somehow we all leave feeling more alive.

So if “no one cares,” we’ll just keep making gorgeous music, telling powerful stories, and proving that opera is very much alive and thriving. 💥🎶

Still basking in the glow of the world premiere of A Nation of Others. ✨

This show is beautiful, heart-wrenching, inspiring, and ultimately full of hope. Each story reminds us of the courage it takes to leave everything behind and the resilience it takes to build a future.
