Releasing these videos has been really fun for us this week. We can only hope that they brightened everyone's days a little bit in this unusual holiday season. The quintet will be getting back together in a week or so and we hope to post something then so stay tuned and happy holidays!

Day 3: Joy to the World

This is the first of two of our recordings that are extra special. One day during our trip while we were all warming up we heard a knock on our door and saw a man with his dog through the glass. We opened the door and he told us that in his 18 years of living there in the mountains he had never heard the sounds of brass instruments. He then revealed that he was also a brass player (trombone) and after more talking and arranging we ended up recording some music with him too! Thanks so much to Tom Lundberg for making this experience so meaningful for us. Moments like these really motivate us to keep spreading the joy of music so on that note, here's Joy to the World!

This past week we got the opportunity to play together in the smoky mountains. Our five day cabin trip was super fun, relaxing, and productive. In between hot-tubbing, cooking, and intense foosball games we found the time to record some familiar Christmas tunes and we'll be posting them everyday leading up to Christmas!
