With this being the Midsummer Derby Day with the Travers and major stakes undercard...Today is Opening Day for Kentucky Downs! I am a big fan of turf racing and breeding. Plus, Fairmont Park will have the Saint Louis Derby Stakes race. Best wishes to Cherrywood Racing in the undercard.

Been busy studying sales catalogs, almost forgot to mention racing. Queen's Plate will be run at Woodbine today. Johnny V comes in to ride Luster the even money favorite!

Saratoga will have a sentimental race in the Christopher Clement Turf Stakes. His son, Michael will saddle Tawny Point in that race.
