Mister E of Imagination: Tales of Edgar Allan Poe opens this weekend to public audiences!

The Tell-Tale Heart. The Fall of the House of Usher. The Cask of Amontillado. The Raven. Four actors bring the world of Poe to life and intertwine these stories to keep you on the edge of your seat.

"I’m not sleeping tonight," said one fourth grader after seeing the show this week with classmates.

"LCT did a great job of dramatizing the Edgar Allan Poe stories. Our students had read the stories before coming and were truly engaged in identifying each story." said a seventh-grade educator. Three of her students were seated in the front row, knees brought to their chests, heads intermittently buried, and feet literally on the edge of their seats - whilst our Edgar Allan Poe (Cameron Taylor) sat at his desk mere feet away, quoting The Raven, staring into their souls - as they dared to look up!

If you love a good ghost story, a little suspense, or a tale that sticks with you long after it ends, Mister E of Imagination: Tales of Edgar Allan Poe is for you! This show, written by Vivian Robin Snipes, brings some of Poe’s best-known stories and poems to the stage in a way that’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Our Companies students spent the night at LCT for a lock-in full of theatre games, fun activities, and plenty of time making memories together! 💜

A big shoutout to Dakota, K.C, and Rhonda for organizing such a fun experience! We’re so grateful for an Education Team that goes above and beyond to inspire our young artists, build community, and create opportunities for them to grow both on and off the stage. The Bats are coming to LCT! 🦇🎶

We’re excited to announce that The Bats will be taking the stage at Lexington Children’s Theatre for a special show benefiting LCT, and tickets are officially LIVE!

We’re so grateful to The Bats for choosing to support our theatre, and we’re especially happy to have a familiar face in the band. Missy Johnston has been part of our LCT costume shop team, and we can’t wait to see her and the band on our stage!
