Summer Theatre School is almost here… and the shirts have officially arrived! ☀️🤩

K.C (Resident Teaching Artist) and Chloe (Summer Teaching Artist) are giving us a first look at this year’s Summer Theatre School shirts, and we can’t wait to see hundreds of young people wearing them all summer long.

A huge thank you to White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics for sponsoring this year’s shirts and helping make Summer Theatre School even more special for our students. Your support helps us create an unforgettable summer filled with creativity, confidence, and theatre magic. ❤️

Just a few more days until Summer Theatre School begins on June 8!

We are incredibly grateful to the Marksbury Family Foundation, Keeneland Foundation, and VisitLEX for their leadership support of LCT’s Capital Campaign.💛

Thanks to the Marksbury Family Foundation, our boardroom will be fully renovated with fresh paint, new flooring, and technology updates.

With support from the Keeneland Foundation, Studio B will become the Keeneland Rehearsal Hall, featuring new lighting and artwork to better showcase the community of our artists and students.

And thanks to VisitLEX, artist Wylie Caudill has created a vibrant mural on our garage door that doubles as a stage for visitors to pose in front of and take photos, turning our building into a place for creativity and connection before you even walk inside.

We are just $500,000 away from completing this campaign, and we need YOUR help to finish it. Every gift moves us closer to opening the doors of this new home for the next generation of theatre artists. Nothing makes us smile more than seeing how theatre inspires creativity beyond the stage. ❤️✨

A huge thank you to Brian A. Murphy, the Art teacher at Sorgho Elementary School, and his students for these incredible letters and drawings inspired by Pinocchio! Students shared what they loved most about the show and even created their own versions of Pinocchio, complete with so many thoughtful costume details.

We loved getting to see Marie, our Costume Director, admire each design and all the creativity that went into them. Moments like these are such a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

Thank you, Sorgho Elementary School, for sharing your imagination with us!

Every show starts with a sketch. So does every building.

While LCT artists create the costumes, sets, and stories audiences see on stage, the team at EOP Architects has been creating something just as inspiring: the next vision for LCT’s home for 26 years.🌟🤩

We’re thrilled to share these new renderings and grateful to EOP for helping turn this dream into something we can finally see.

We have less than $500,000 left to raise to make this new home for theatre education, creativity, and young artists a reality. Every donation moves us closer to opening the doors to the future of LCT.

Join us in building what comes next.💛https://lctonstage.ludus.com/fundraisers/4150
