Montana!!
The water was a perfect mirror, capturing the sky’s soft transition from deepest blue to blushing pink over the rugged peaks. This single rock at the water’s edge felt like a steadfast companion, grounding the entire scene while the clouds drifted in silent reflection.
Moments like this remind me why we hike — to witness the raw, untouched beauty in amazing places such as Montana.

With autumn quickly approaching, I’m brought back to one of my fall favorites…”Autumn Symphony”
This shot was taken in the mountains of NC on a crisp fall morning. It is the reflection of autumn foliage on a small mountain lake. I felt the combination of the golden fall colors reflecting on the peaceful movement of the mountain water creating a wonderful “symphony” to convey the emotion of the scene. Hope you enjoy!

Dad and I were shooting this morning together and I was literally in the middle of putting my gear away and calling it a day at Lily Lake when the sky completely lit up. A vibrant rainbow broke through the clouds, glowing over the mountains and casting a perfect reflection across the water.

Proof that sometimes the best moments happen right when you’re about to walk away.
