New England Light Opera

New England Light Opera New England Light Opera is a professional, not for profit operetta and musical theater company A Musical Fantasy on Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald.

Founded in 2001, New England Light Opera performs operettas, concerts of operetta, and early American music theater in towns all over eastern Massachusetts. Past shows have included The Merry Widow and The New Moon, along with the premieres of The (In)Compleat Works of Gilbert and Sullivan and Yes Yes Jeanette! Revues include shows about Cole Porter, George Gershwin, songs of the 30's, and more.
