This is a small intervention project by Anna Zheng called “Add a Song Take a Song”.

This project was inspired by her love of sharing music and finding new music with her friends, and she wanted to spread that love with the Lexington community! Although the link lasted only seven days, many people took the time to share some music!

• “Hereafter” is an interactive work by on Instagram posing the statement “Scan me to see the future.” When scanned, the viewer is taken to a website with a text entry and invited to answer the question, “What is the future that you imagined?” Answers are then logged anonymously onto the website.

• “The goal of this work is to inspire viewers to contemplate and share their internal thoughts concerning the future of our world. The page exists as a way for viewers to decipher their thoughts, vent their frustrations, or submit an instinctual or comedic response.”

Mural artist and UK School of Art and Visual Studies student Lane Toth created this mural at 905 Wi******er Road. Awesome!! He's been doing some other work downtown, and will be leading some mural projects in the fall. Great work Lane!!
