Alan Tudyk has brought some of pop culture’s most memorable characters to life—from the well-meaning Tucker in Tucker & Dale vs. Evil to a beloved spaceship pilot, a sarcastic Imperial droid, and one very confused rooster.

Fans know him as Hoban “Wash” Washburne in Firefly and Serenity, K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Andor, and Harry Vanderspeigle in Resident Alien. His film credits include A Knight’s Tale, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, and I, Robot, in which he provided the voice and motion-capture performance for Sonny.

An acclaimed voice actor, Alan’s Disney roles include King Candy in Wreck-It Ralph, the Duke of Weselton in Frozen, Alistair Krei in Big Hero 6, Duke Weaselton in Zootopia, and Heihei in Moana and Moana 2. His performance as King Candy earned him an Annie Award, and he was named a Disney Legend in 2026.

Alan also created and starred in Con Man, an Emmy-nominated comedy inspired by his experiences in science fiction and the convention world. With sharp comedic timing and remarkable versatility, he has become a fan favorite across galaxies, genres, and generations.
