On The Verge Theatre Next came Jeffrey Hatcher’s Three Viewings, performed at Milward Funeral Home.

On The Verge is an informal alliance of seasoned theatre artists intent on exploring challenging work and creating untraditional experiences both for theatre aficionados and for those who would rather be mugged than attend a play On The Verge made its debut with back-to-back site-specific productions of Lillian Hellman’s The Little Foxes and its prequel, Another Part of the Forest, at the Bodley B

ullock and Hunt Morgan houses respectively, in Lexington’s historic Gratz Park. Following a brief detour into proscenium world with the Kentucky premiere of Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage at the Downtown Arts Center, the group presented Nora Ephron's Love, Loss and What I Wore at Apres Vous Boutique. On offer in September 2014 is "Much Ado", a site-specific adaptation of Shakespeare's beloved classic at Central Christian Church.

Hard to believe we actually open Chekhov's UNCLE VANYA tonight. And will play in front of a live audience. Almost inconceivable during those years of pandemic isolation. On The Verge is ecstatic and privileged to be making its comeback with a play of this caliber in the company of truly exceptional actors, designers and crew in a venue, Hopemont, that fits like a glove.
