Tomato Season

I painted this piece after friends around me started talk of canning their tomatoes! The number at the bottom represents the day and number of paintings I had done in that month. It is my personal catalog system. I thought it looked cute under the tomatoes.

Hello, my name is Cheri and I?m a 65-year-old artist. I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Art from Western Kentucky University. I graduated at the age of 54. Painting has always been a part of my life since I was a little girl. It?s the way I expressed my feelings, and. it?s what I do to earn extra income. I paint murals in Lexington, Kentucky. Most recently, I finished in fourth place in Johnny Depp?s, Art of Elysium contest. Something I am very proud of. I hope you enjoy my work.!
