Our mission is to provide support, guidance, and overall movement for minority artist and individuals residing in low-income communities. With a goal to promote arts, philanthropy, and advocacy as the foundation for the Black Butterfly Network-Lex. Organizers of the Black Butterfly Network - Lex will work collaboratively together with members of the art community to promote nonprofits, businesses,

What an Amazing Day at the Red Shield Center!

Black Butterfly Network - Lexington had an unforgettable day with our friends at the Red Shield Center (formerly the Boys & Girls Club of Davidson County)! We are beyond grateful for our partnership with Anything For Our Youth Group, Inc., Arts Davidson County, and our generous sponsor, Thomasville Community Foundation.

Together, we worked with the youth on an Inspirational Rock Project, guiding them to paint rocks with meaning, purpose, and direction. A huge thank you to our professional artists who shared their creativity and expertise, helping bring the kids’ ideas to life!

We also want to give a special shout-out to the incredible staff and leadership at the Red Shield Center for their support in making this event possible.

We love art, we love our youth, and we love giving back to Davidson County! Thank you to everyone who made this day so special! ❤️🎨✨

This month, we celebrate the incredible achievements of women throughout history and honor the strong, resilient women making a difference right here in our community. From educators, entrepreneurs to advocates, community leaders, and many other women in our communities who continue to inspire and uplift those around them.

Let’s take a moment to recognize the women who lead, serve, and create positive change every day. Tell an amazing woman who inspires you and share with her how she’s making an impact!
