Hi friends! I’m just popping in to say that my house (and subsequently business because I work from home) has been without power since 6 pm on Friday night.
i am not alone though- Lexington got it's literal s**t rocked by 60 mph winds on Friday (I think- it said it was 30 Mph with 60 mph gusts, so I’m not really sure).
It knocked out the majority of the cities power lines.
Luckily, myself and my friends and family are all physically okay Post- storm, and we are slowly seeing power come back on across the city. in terms of a vibe, the strongest one is stressful and dark, since I have no lights and such. This has, once again, confirmed to me that if I were alive pre-electricity, I would have been institutionalized immediately.
I am so sorry that this has effected order times and such, and I promise I will let y'all know when things have returned to normal.
