💙🫐THE SUNDAY FUNDAY PARADE IS TODAY! 🫐💙

Today we get to do what Lexington does best, come together as a community! Bring the kids, call your friends, find a spot along the route, and get ready for an afternoon filled with waving, cheering, smiling faces, and Blueberry pride. 🎈🎺

If you’re participating, parade lineup is at Lexington High School from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM. The parade steps off at 2:00 PM and travels the traditional route from Lexington High School to Patriot Park.

💙🫐 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has supported the Lexington Blueberry Festival this year. When flooding forced us to cancel the festival, your kindness, understanding, and encouragement meant more than we can say. This year reminded us that the true heart of the festival is our community, and seeing everyone come together and keep the Blueberry spirit alive has been incredibly special. 👑🫐 OUR NEW 2026 BLUEBERRY ROYALTY IS READY FOR PARADE DAY! 🫐👑

Today is going to be extra special as we celebrate our brand-new 2026 Miss Blueberry title holders — Elowyn McCarty, Jayda Owens, Carina Kirk, Juliet Robles, Claire Davisson, and Sophia Deel! 💙 We hope everyone will come out and give them a warm Lexington welcome as they begin their year representing the Miss Blueberry Pageant and our community.

And they won’t be alone! 🎉 We’re also excited to have some of our 2026 Miss Blueberry first runners-up and the winners of the 2026 Miss Berry Sweetheart Photo Contest joining us in today’s Sunday Funday Parade!

The Sunday Funday Parade is just ONE DAY AWAY, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the spirit of our community. 🫐 Even though this year brought some unexpected changes, the friendships, traditions, memories, and people behind the Lexington Blueberry Festival are still very much here.

🚙 Parade participants can begin arriving at Lexington High School at 12:00 PM, with lineup continuing until 1:30 PM. The parade officially steps off at 2:00 PM and follows the familiar route from Lexington High School to Patriot Park.

Come wave, cheer, laugh, take pictures, and enjoy an afternoon together. We would love to see the route packed with Blueberry spirit from beginning to end! 💙🥁

The festival grounds may be quiet this year, but the Spirit of the Blueberry is anything but. 💙 The Lexington Blueberry Festival has always been about more than events and activities, it’s about the people who come together year after year to celebrate our community.

We hope you’ll join us this Sunday at 2:00 PM for the Sunday Funday Parade and help us show just how strong that community spirit really is! 🎉 The parade will follow its usual route from the high school down Plymouth Street.

Who will be crowned our new 2026 Miss Blueberry Pageant title holders? ✨

Excited to ANNOUNCE our Emcee for the 2026 Miss Blueberry Pageant CROWNINGS . . . . . Miss Ohio 2026 Lexie Miller!

Lexie Miller is a 24 year old from Newark, Ohio. She is a graduate of Newark Catholic High School and graduated from the University of Akron in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She works as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse recovering open heart patients. Lexie won the title of Miss Ohio 2026 in June and will be competing for the title of Miss America starting September 1.

After months of excitement, preparation, and anticipation, tonight we finally answer the big question: Who will be crowned our new 2026 Miss Blueberry Pageant title holders? ✨ We hope everyone will come out, fill the room, cheer on these wonderful young ladies, and help us celebrate a very special night for the Miss Blueberry Pageant and the Lexington Blueberry Festival!

💙💙💙Before we welcome our new title holders, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful outgoing 2025 queens: Selah Beal, Carson Rose Brashers, Madilynn Christman, Naomi Boehm, Sadie Gunter, and Sophia Fisher. 💐👑 Thank you for representing the Miss Blueberry Pageant with such kindness, enthusiasm, and Blueberry spirit throughout your year.
